General membership terms

Apply for membership

Submit your application on the membership page. Applying is free of charge, and we review your application before any billing.

Approval, waiting list or decline

We will approve your application, place it on a waiting list, or decline it with a brief explanation. Applicants on the waiting list keep their place until a spot becomes available. We do not accept as members anyone who is the subject of strong suspicions of sexual or violent offences, or where there is reason to suspect the space would be used for paid sexual services. We reserve the right to make decisions based on our own best judgement, and we may not be able to explain a decision to the applicant in detail.

First payment

Once your application is approved, you'll receive an invoice and pay for the first month (the monthly fee, VAT included). Your membership is activated as soon as your payment has been received. After that, you can make member bookings during your membership period.

Getting your key

You'll receive your key on your first visit after your membership begins. After that, you can come and go with your own key.

Monthly fees

We invoice the monthly fee in advance for each billing period. You'll receive a receipt, and a failed renewal payment may put your membership on hold. You'll receive the invoice for your next membership period in good time, with 14 days to pay.

Pausing

If a renewal payment is overdue, your membership is put on hold (past due) until the payment has been made. While your membership is on hold, you can't make new bookings.

Cancellation (by you) or termination (by the studio)

You can cancel at any time, and your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. The studio may terminate a membership for rule violations or payment problems (usually with notice, but immediately in serious cases). For distance sales, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under consumer protection law.

Membership is personal

Membership can't be transferred, and members may not hand over the keys to the space to anyone else. Guests are welcome at the studio, but the member must be present for the entire duration of the booking.
